DUOTONE THROWS
Using two colours of wool, the Duotone Throws interplay with overlapping threads on the warp and weft in the weaving process to form a mesmerizing woven landscape composed of intersecting shapes.
The design started with studying dappled light through the canopies of trees and translating the forms into cut out paper. The final product is produced in a brushed wool at a textile mill in Lithuania who has been in operation since the 1800s.
